May 2021

Nearly half way through the year already! Where has it gone?
I have been enjoying the beautiful summer here on the coast.
‘Swimming, bush walks ,lunches and visitors have taken over my studio time.
‘As the studio went through a Reno I made the most of these other activities.
‘I have just recently been enjoying my new space, which is bathed in sunlight most of the day.
‘I have had workshops in Griffith, Milton, Kiama and Ulladulla this year.
‘In July I will be running some in Leeton, Griffith and Wagga.
Check out my Workshop page.
I have been involved with a few art shows and Awards this year.
‘I was thrilled to be awarded a 2nd in the main award and a Highly Commended at the Tumut Art Show in April.
My works entered into the Lethbridge small scale Art Awards and the Wingecarribee Award was chosen as finalists recently.
‘I also entered a work in the Wynn Art Prize for the first time this year, but was unsuccessful.. It was exciting to be part of this getting a sneak peak into the ‘behind the scenes’ of the loading dock.
I have had lots of studio visits from  locals and visitors to the area.
I am looking forward to a trip to the Red Centre very soon where I’m sure I will get an overload of inspiration for further works.
‘Thank you all for your continued interest in my work and happenings.
