Between Tides and Dust

This exhibition, Between Tides and Dust, is a journey through the contrasting yet interconnected landscapes of Australia — from the shifting tides of the coast to the timeless, dust-swept expanses of the Flinders Ranges and outback. Using a palette that ranges from the deep blues of the ocean to the rich earthy tones of the outback, I explore the unique textures and energies of these terrains. Ancient markings, speak to the enduring presence of the landscape . Each piece is a reflection of my connection to these landscapes. Using collage done on site as a base , layers of acrylic glazes,charcoal, ink and drawing media are used to build the scene. Through my work, I strive to evoke a sense of place — to invite viewers to feel the energy of the land and respond to the raw power and the delicate details.
